Noctem: Oblivion
20/05/11 || Lord K Philipson
With a logo that looks like Watain’s and a cover screaming death/black metal, Noctem’s first impression on me is a good one. And boy, do these fucken assholes deliver some thrashy, deadly, crushing & furious aggression. How nice. If you feel like having your ass handed to ya for a while, Noctem’s ready to help you out with that. The very sterile production brings things down a little though.
7,5/10: They would have benefited from a warmer soundscape. Nonetheless, a quality offering on all accounts.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
