I used to be an NHL-fanatic. I mean completely fan-fucken-atic. Becoz of that it really warmths my dead, cold heart when I get a package from an old semi-hero of mine. Below is his letter in its entirety.
“Hello Global Domination, my name is Milan Hejduk and I used to play hockey. Now I decided hockey is not tr00 or kvlt so I had to start up a “band” and give it a suitable moniker: HAIDUK. No one will figure out it’s me who’s doing this band since I was smart enough to spell my last name different for this whole thing. I am a solo project and my debut demo/album (I like to call it “demo/album” as it has so many songs on it) is grimly entitled “Plagueswept” – a title perfectly explaining the cold grimness of Canada, where I’m from. I think.”
“What’s so good about this release is that the sound is actually absolutely shitty, distorted and fantastically weak. It gives it a tr00 feeling. What more? I have tried to program some really crappy drums with a Toys’R‘Us sound to go with them, and I think I succeeded, no? There are also some very misplaced electronic sounds in there, like if they were inserted on random (which they were). I know that most of my riffs suck hairy, sloppy elephant cock – but there are a few real necro and grvm ones in there that you might like. If you are retarded.”
