Forceps: Humanicide
18/12/12 || jaimeviejo
This band’s EP is pretty sweet. There is a little bit of slam, some Cannibal Corpse “Frantic Disembowelment” style of riffing but not that fast and some Decapitated thrown in too. This is not the most innovative brutal death metal band ever but they do things well while keeping the viciousness and the fun.
The production is good, clear, punishing and has an organic touch. Breaking news: the bass is audible. The band is dynamic and they are not afraid to slow things down with grooves and slams. This is fun brutal death metal to listen to while doing anything.
8/10: Let’s play it again.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
