Fester: Silence
14/07/11 || Lord K Philipson
Abyss Records obviously thought it’d be a great move to re-release this album from fucken 1993. I can’t help but laugh whenever I hear this fucken name. The Addams Family ruined it. I’m not sure if you are familiar with Norway’s Fester, but if you’re not – let it stay that way. If you want to hear some, eh… avantgarde metal with tr00 and grvm whispering vocals courtesy of some fucken “Lord of the rings” leftover idiot – here you go! Sure, this crap is a few years old, but to say it has aged with grace would be… a lie. Oh, how I wish this disc actually contained just what the title implies… silence. ZING!
2,5/10: It seems like Uncle Fester wanted to develop their own sound instead of just doing the regular shitty black metal thing. They failed.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
