Aosoth: III
10/06/11 || Lord K Philipson
French atmospheric and poorly produced black metal will never make me do the Yes! Cartwheel. Aosoth won’t change that. What I can appreciate with this band though is the, tada!, atmosphere. They sure managed to bring in some darkness into their music unlike most of the other so-called “atmospheric black metal” bands. “Atmospheric” is usually another way of saying “we fucken suck it” when it comes to this particular music. No, Aosoth isn’t my thing, at all, but they sure set a sinister mood with what they do, and I can see why People Ov The Tr00 would take a liking in this. If your ham’n‘cheese is black metal by the description first off in this review – you’ll fucken enjoy this.
3,5/10: For atmosphere alone.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
