Acrimonious: Sunyata

When I saw this album’s cover together with knowing that this was some black metal from Greece my expectations was, somewhat, well – I wasn’t expecting the usual thing. However, I was wrong. The album opens with the typical intro that makes no sense, especially when you think about why it was placed there at all. The next track Lykania Hekate is the highlight of this album and sounds more or less as Watain, but with some darker vocals. When I say more or less as Watain, I mean more.
The rest of the album is not as similar to Watain as the previews mentioned track, but is on the other hand not as memorable. The musicianship is well executed, so is the production. One could just ask for improved songwriting for the next album.
6/10: Greece ancients gods. After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
